Pet owners today regard their animals as part of the family and provide the same care and concern for them that they give to their human loved ones. According to the American Pet Products Association, people own more than 74.8 million dogs in the U.S. In 2008, $16.9 billion will be spent on food and $10.9 billion on vet care. Increasingly, consumers are turning to products like Dog-Wa, which is made in the USA exclusively from human food-grade ingredients.

“Feeding dogs a healthy diet is a gift that keeps on giving,” according to renowned veterinarian Dr. Jane Leon, a distinguished graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She added, “One of the best things we can do is to feed our pets properly. The ideal diet includes indispensable micro-nutrients found in leafy greens. Adding Dog-Wa to water or mixing it into food every day provides these nutrients and is an effective method to help maintain a dog’s optimum health.”

Recently, the U.S. Government updated its pet nutrition standards for the first time in 23 years, and The American Kennel Club agrees that leafy greens are an essential part of a dog’s healthy, well-balanced diet.
