The XR Games, an Arizona-based non-profit children’s wellness league, has arranged financing that will allow all Arizona children in kindergarten through 12th grade to receive equipment, software, shoes and clothes. Players can go to Gamestop, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, Industrial, whichever retailer they want, to get their favorite stuff to participate in the league.

John Ward, Commissioner of The XR GAMES, had this to say, “This is a great opportunity for the children of Arizona to receive fun health as their gift this holiday. This generation of children will be the first that will not live longer than their parents. In Arizona we have a chance to solve this problem. THE XR GAMES has created engaging activities and technologies that our children will do to keep healthy. These solutions are free in Arizona through our state tax credit program. The key to a successful wellness program is compliance. Compliance is based on fun activities and children participate because THE XR GAMES is based on the activities children are already doing.”
