Precor introduces two lines in the all-new Experience Strength series of machine-defined, selectorized strength equipment for fitness facilities ranging from premium health clubs to homes.

Featuring a sleek look created by the design team behind Precors breakthrough Adaptive Motion Trainer, both Experience Strength lines also carry on the Precor Icarian tradition of sound biomechanics and durability.

Precor has been raising expectations in cardio and entertainment equipment for several years, while our strength offering has been solid and steady, said Paul J. Byrne, Precor president. With the Experience Strength series, were meeting our commercial customers elevated expectations with two new strength lines that round out Precor market leadership in cardio and entertainment.

Experience Strength C-Line

The C-line, Precors all-new premium line for heavy use, is being launched with a first wave of 12 models, featuring modern industrial design that translates to maximum style and durability.

Precor paid great attention to detail with the C-Line, applying discrete touches and building in ease-of-use in areas that are most important and visible to users. C-Line weight stacks are a case in point, with stylish shrouds that protect the user and add privacy while offering instructions that help users maximize their workout. Plus, raised weight stacks add to ease of use, allowing adjustments to weight plates from a seated position.

Upper body choices within the first wave of C-Line products include Bicep Curl, Tricep Extension, Chest Press, Shoulder Press, Lat Pulldown, Seated Row and Rear Delt/Pec Fly. Lower body models include Leg Extension, Seated Leg Curl and Leg Press. Abdominal and Back Extension machines target core muscles.

A second wave of C-Line models is planned to launch in the first half of 2009.

Experience Strength S-Line

Simplicity, economy of space and exceptional value are the hallmarks of the 13-piece Experience Strength S-Line, a comprehensive, turnkey conditioning circuit designed for facilities that place a priority on economy of space and ease of use.

S-Line models also feature step-by-step instructional placards, with walk-in designs and fewer adjustments adding appeal for less experienced users. At the same time, experienced users appreciate the smooth, ergonomically correct biomechanics across the new S-Line.

S-Line models targeting the upper body include Bicep Curl, Tricep Extension, Chest Press, Shoulder Press, Pulldown, Seated Row and Rear Delt/Pec Fly machines. Lower-body exercise needs are addressed with Inner/Outer Thigh, Leg Press, Leg Curl and Leg Extension, while Abdominal and Back Extension machines focus on the core.

Both new lines meet all applicable ASTM and EN957 regulatory standards for commercial strength equipment.
