I just wanted to take the time out to thank you for mentioning the Not a Cough in a Carload exhibit that will be at the New York Public Library, but just wanted to add a correction about the dates. The exhibit will run from Tuesday, October 7 until December 26. It is an amazing exhibit. There are a number of wonderful images on display, which are actually humorous in nature when considering what we know about cigarettes today. I encourage everyone to check it out. The hours of operation for The New Your Public Library's Science, Industry and Business Library, at 188 Madison Avenue, is Monday, Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Hope to see you all there. Take care

Remember the glamour days of smoking when such stars as Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall puffed their way into Hollywood legend? When images of John Wayne and Gary Cooper, cigarette in hand, symbolized virility? And Joan Crawford lighting a cigarette ...
