Your childrens’ hearing is a very important thing, and with the non-stop beating that their ears get on a daily basis from iPods and MP3 players, it is very important to protect their sensitive hearing systems whenever possible. Ultimate Ears provides in-ear custom monitors for musicians including the Jonas Brothers, The Cheetah Girls and Mariah Carey, has introduced new LoudEnough earphones, designed for kids. LoudEnough earphones maintain best-in-class audio quality while setting boundaries to the volume delivered to childrens’ ears.

LoudEnough earphones are small and compact, maximizing comfort and fit. Relative to other noise-isolating earphones, these innovative ear buds reduce sound pressure levels (SPLs) by up to 20dB, which is heard as about one quarter of the volume. With the volume-limiting components built directly into the ear buds, these elements are invisible to kids and give parents peace of mind.

“Children will love the heightened audio quality of Ultimate Ears’ LoudEnough while parents will appreciate their ability to deliver volume at responsible levels,” says Mindy Harvey, co-founder and president of Ultimate Ears. “We are constantly looking for ways to bring professional-grade earphones to an everyday audience, and now kids can benefit from our pioneering technology.”

Available in three vivid colors, Blueberry, Mint and Plum. The LoudEnough earphones also include six sets of changeable soft silicone ear tips; two sets of the following sizes are provided: extra-small, small and medium. These are crafted to fit the smaller ear canals of children. The earbuds’ shape and snug fit yield maximum wearing comfort and noise isolation. Also included is a color coordinated pocket-ready carrying case.

“The bright colors make LoudEnough a hit with the pint-sized trendsetters while the volume-limiting function teaches them at a young age to listen to music in a smart way,” says Harvey.

The 3.5 mm connector works with most portable music sources like the iPod, iPhone, Zune and other MP3 players. In addition, LoudEnough works with DVD car entertainment systems, TVs, PCs and gaming devices (e.g. Sony PSP, Xbox and Nintendo).
