
1. Take time to evaluate your personal cardiovascular program and resolve to stick to it.
2. Set a cardiovascular goal for yourself for the next month and monitor it to see your progress.
3. Be familiar with your heart rate by using any of the methods described. Especially know the Borg Perceived Exertion Scale, as you will use this every time you do cardio.
4. Don’t forget to do your interval training - only one day each week.
5. Watch for signs of over-training, don’t ignore them. Back off a bit if necessary.
6. Enjoy your results.
